
Prithwiraj Choudhury
Prithwiraj Choudhury is a poet, writer, and singer-song writer. His poem ‘Iti Apu’ read by the late actor Soumitra Chattopadhay has become viral in Bangladesh, India and worldwide.
He currently collaborates with musicians trained at the Berklee College of Music. Prithwiraj has performed at over 50 concerts in the U.S.A and India and has performed at events hosted in Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Tampa FL, Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Hartford CT, Kansas City, and elsewhere. He has recorded two albums of original music so far, one released by Saregama (HMV) and the other by Inreco (Hindustan Records) and has been interviewed by the BBC for his music. He has performed on television and radio channels in Kolkata and Dhaka. One of his songs was included in the Collector’s Edition of Bangla Band Songs released by the Government of West Bengal in 2018.
